  1. Q: What is the process?

    A: Preferred Automotive Group locates a customer’s selection in the U.S., researches its history, ensures that it’s not a lemon branded title/buyback vehicle and then provides a quote to our customer.  Once the customer is satisfied with the price, we ship the vehicle to Canada, prepare all of the necessary paperwork for customs and ensure the vehicle meets Transport Canada standards (i.e. some vehicles require daytime running lights).  Once the vehicle is ready for driving, we hand you the keys.

  2. Q: Why are your prices lower than what I can find?

    A: Many Canadian dealerships have not lowered their prices to reflect our high Canadian dollar.  Through our extensive dealership and shipping networks within the United States, we can find your desired vehicle and deliver it to you for a lower cost than what the public can negotiate.

  3. Q: How do you ensure that I’m not buying a lemon branded title?

    A: We determine the dealership that first sold the vehicle.  This allows us to check on its maintenance, any accidents that it may have been involved in as well as recalls and warranty claims.  From that we can determine if the vehicle will be trouble free for our customer.  We supply the car fax report as well as make sure the vehicle has a clean title.

    A: The average vehicle takes approximately two weeks from the time that you decide on a vehicle to the time that we hand you the keys.

    A: Preferred Automotive Group is bonded and insured through Manitoba Public Insurance.  This means that your money is insured and that we have to meet all the requirements set out on your bill of sale.

    In addition, American vehicles are driven on well maintained American highways and freeways.  Their roads tend to have less potholes and salt is used on their roads significantly less.
